All you need is:
1 bottle of Conserva Della Nonna passata from our deli.
A glug of extra virgin olive oil.
Either a chopped medium onion OR three cloves of garlic (you can use both if you like!).
Salt & pepper to taste.
Instructions
Heat your olive oil up, add chopped onions & sauté. If you are using garlic, be careful it doesn’t burn as it will become bitter. Add your passata, swill the bottle out with water so you get every last bit of goodness out. Add a couple of pinches of salt and black pepper. This is a popular dish from our salad specials. This is warmed speck (smoked, cured ham) with Mozzarella di Bufala, sun-dried tomatoes, artichokes and fresh rocket, drizzled with balsamic glaze and extra virgin olive oil. The warmed smoked speck compliments the fresh sourness of the Mozzarella di Bufala, the sun-dried tomatoes and balsamic glaze adds sweetness, the peppery rocket and earthy artichokes rounds this dish up nicely.
Our salads are simple but delicious and filling. Have it large or small, served with fresh bread. Our Tonno Bianco (white tuna) is the most popular salad. This fillet of tuna is the best you will ever taste; we are the sole importers of it, direct from Italy. You can even buy jars of it from our deli.

This dish translates to ‘sausage and chickpeas’ and is made with our homemade sausages.
The recipe of these sausages is of an old family one. You can buy them to cook at home from our deli. It’s a hearty stew-like dish that will warm you up on a gloomy day, something you’d turn to for comfort food. The homemade sausages are served in a rich tomato sauce with chickpeas.
This is just one of our tasty gluten-free dishes that we serve in our caffè.
We named this cake after the famous volcano in Naples, Italy. Choux pastry filled with Strega Liquor Crema Pasticcera. Cut into it and watch the cream erupt out of it like lava. It’s big enough to share, but it’s good enough to eat all on your own!
As you know we bake all our cakes in our in house bakery and we have a big selection. Like the Italians we use liquor in most of our cakes, Strega being the most popular. The translation of Strega is ‘Witch’ and is made with herbs and spices to make a ‘witches’ brew’. It is used to give our cakes a delicate and unusual taste.
Give it a taste, you can buy a bottle from us, or come in and try ...
We love the San Daniele ham at Roma. It is popular with the customers also. This pizza is topped with slices of tender San Daniele Parma ham, finished with shavings of Parmigianino Reggiano, fresh rocket and drizzled with extra Virgin Olive oil. Delicious! If you don’t fancy a pizza, have it in a salad or have it in our Parma and Lentil soup.
We use the Napolitano coffee, Kimbo. Robusta Arabica, the beans blended from Brazil, Central America and Asia. It has a medium roast profile. Our cappuccino is a double shot of coffee, a little milk, topped with creamy froth, sprinkled with chocolate.
We like our coffee strong here; it will definitely set you off for the day to come.
